We almost didn't join in this year's planting. This year is my 2nd year in 3rd grade and some of the students I have are the same ones I had 2 years ago in 1st grade. That year was the first year I integrated the Journey North program into my curriculum. Well, the kids asked recently "WHEN are we planting the tulips again for the internet?" So as you can see we have been busy these past few weeks. What makes it even more exciting is we joined up with a Enviornmental Science high school class and the kids have become "planting buddies" The older kids (11th $ 12th graders)are just as excited as the 3rd graders. What fun we had planting them. The kids can't wait to visit the site to see all who are participating. THANKS Journey North!!
