Our class had quite a surprise today! Some moms were pulling annuals from our butterfly garden and they sent in word for us to see some caterpillars. I expected them to be anything but monarch caterpillars since they should all be gone by now. To our surprise there were about 8 fat monarch caterpillars on the milkweed. Does anyone know if this is common? The weather has been extremely warm here.
