Signs of Fall

Date: 11/24/2003

Number: 1

November 24, 2003 No lasting snow,...yet!The grass outside our classroom is brown; the leaves are all down and we are just waiting for the first lasting snow. Our ski area is scheduled to open this week. (probably some man-made snow.) The lake is not frozen - but very cold-looking. The heat has been on at school for about a month. We have had a lot of very cloudy, overcast days this fall...and a lot of rain. Our students are wearing their winter hats and mittens outside on the playground.
