On Thursday, October 23rd at noon, we planted bulbs to celebrate Red Ribbon Week and also to participate in the Tulip Study. We had our bulbs donated by the Dunesland Garden Club and we had them purchased at De Vroomen Bulb Company which is located in the next town. As we planted, we each made a committment to make healthy choices this winter and to stay away from drugs and alcohol. Even a police officer and our Principal, Ms. Butera made the committment. Our Township Supervisor was there to rototill and we had lots of kids read the directions and do all the work. We can't wait to see when the tulips come up in the spring. There is another grade school in our town that is also planting tulips so we will see who gets to announce spring is here first!
