Our class learned about tulips and how to plant a JN tulip garden with Mrs. Margolis from the Albany Visitors Center on 11/5/03. We had planned on planting that day but it was raining outside. We took measurements of the bulbs and introduced our "Flat Stanleys" to the tulip bulbs. The next day, we planted our tulips outside our school with the help of Mrs Farley's 1st grade class. In spring, we will compare our bulbs bloom time with the other Albany school gardens. Maybe we will find a class who is doing the Flat Stanley project too!
