A cold snap that brought temps down into the teens and below the last 2 nights with cold days has brought the end to open seas on Bald Eagle Lake in White Bear Township. Today (Dec. 2)the lake is glazed over completely except for the trail made by a boat breaking the ice to get from their island home to the mainland.
