We have been having a very long planting season! We started October 4th at the school's Fun Fair, continued throughout October and November and December as small groups of students and classes finished planting bulbs! We have planted in a number of different locations including the front of the school and an enclosed, but not roofed, courtyard to compare emergence data. Our location for the JN study will be our garden in front of the school away from the building, but we'll do some comparisons ourselves with our other sites as we consider weather, location, microclimate, etc.
My teaching position changed mid-fall so my workload shifted making this an extremely complex season! Sorry we're so late getting back to you all!
