It was at 4:00 p.m. There were hundreds of them. I could hear them all over the neighborhood.So many it was a chittering sound, not a single individual song. They were eating crabapples just outside my bedroom window, so I saw them very close.

Also I have seen huge groups of birds up high following HWY 64 west. I do not know if these are the same birds. I saw these Christmas day at HWY 270 and 40 (64)--and again today, (12/29/03) about 3 miles west of there still above 64.
