What a season. December started with 2 snow storms the first two week ends. As for rain, we only had 1.8 inches this month sompared to November when we received 5.7 inches. It has been a wet fall. Monday it was a balmy 54 with moths flying around outside at night. Yesterday it dropped like a rock to 28 with snow showers and no moths. The Bald eagles have rebuilt their nest down by the river. I caught a glimpse of that, really fascinating creatures. Even had one up here by the house in October being chased by two Crows. The Golden that was captured last fall has also returned here. Wonder if it will stay for another winter?
