On Wed. Jan. 14th we saw a beautiful , large female Monarch laying eggs in the school garden. The milkweed does not look good and very few leaves are out. She laid eggs all over the stems and on what little leaf buds she could find.That is the first Monarch we've seen in about three weeks.
