Can't believe it...saw a robin today!!! This is, by far, the earliest ever! Poor thing was sitting in the locust tree watching all the other birds at the feeders - hope it at least checks out the suet for some nourishment - put some frozen blueberries out, too.
I'm sure it's one of our babies from last Spring, as it was flying back periodically to the tree that had a nest with baby Robins last Spring. Clearly, it remembered its birthplace!
Nature is incredible! Hope it will be okay...and hope it's a sign of warm weather soon...certainly was not the case today - wintry mix all day.
