We planted our tulips in the school garden. In January we thought we saw some spouting. As it turned out those weren't our tulips. Last week we visited our garden and now they are begining to sprout. There were three up about an inch out of the ground. These are the real tulips, a deep reddish green sprouts. We went back to our classroom and imagined what had happened under the ground since we had planned the bulbs. We tried to draw it to scale.
