Saw single robin on ground near a brook where the snow had melted. Two days later my next door neighbor called me to show me he had a flock of robins at his feeders during snowstorm. He had put out a fruit and nut type feed. The temperature was actually much warmer - in the 30's - than it has been much of January. The snow later turned to rain.
