With the temperatures finally reaching the 30's, I had 3 redwing blackbirds (2 female/immature and a male) at the feeders. They were feeding with the flock of cowbirds and starlings that have been here all winter. I can actually see some grass under the feeders for the first time in over a month..the snow still is about 8 inches with a crusty covering under the melting top layer...The days are getting longer and brighter..FINALLY!!
