Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/11/2004

Number: 1

I was riding back from a meeting with my boss between St James and Salem on Rt 68. I noticed all these birds on both sides of the road. They were everywhere, crashing into each other and on the road, trees, and newly bare fields. As we got closer I realized they were robins. There were at least 200 of them. The snow had melted that day off some places and it looked like they found the spot. It was comical in some ways as they seemed so excited that they found a place with no snow. They kept flying into each other like football players that bump stomachs when they do good. It made me feel good that Spring is not far behind!
