Bald Eagles congregating at open water at the south end of Lake Pepin on the Mississippi River. Sighted over 30 birds on Saturday, Feb. 14. Half were soaring over the open water and up and down the river valley. The others were roosting in trees at the water's edge. They were feasting on Gizzard shad- a non-game fish.
