Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/02/2004

Number: 1

We have had a rush of warmer temperatures (30s - 40s) melting 3 - 4 inches of snow and ice. As soon as you could see the grass again, it was covered with many - probably 20 - 30 robins - picking at something in/on the ground. Isn't it too early for worms to migrate back up toward the top of ground? Especially after the freezing temperatures and ice we have had the past week.
