At least 100 birds. On the ground, in bushes and trees. High oak trees in the area where sighted and the robins were all over the tree - even in the very top branches. Extremely loud aqnd active. Normally, I see robins on the lower branches, not up high.
I also saw a similar thing on Sunday, 2/7/04, except that there were not as many, and they were primarily in a much smaller tree which had lots of small berries.
Also saw the biggest "flock" on Friday, 2/13/04. Horizon High grounds were literally covered up. Trees full, and it seemed at times like the birds were swarming. There were at least 200 and probably more.
I have never seen robins behave like this and I am 60 years old and always thought myself relatively observant. And this is all in one month.
Thank you.
