Tulipa turkistanica and Tulipa 'Leen van der Mark' are emerging. Snowdrops are blooming, Crocus 'Snow Bunting' and 'Cream Beauty' are emerging. Daffodils, both early and mid-season are emerging. The silver maples are in bud, about to flower (week, 10 days?) European meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) and chives are emerging.
The sandhill cranes are going over in droves, the killdeer and the starling(!) are back.
