Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/22/2004

Number: 1

I saw 2 robins in a pine tree, and the deciduous tree next to it, which also
had about 20 cedar waxwings in it at the time! I have not heard their
singing yet (too bad, it's a favorite sign of spring of mine). 2 years ago,
Robins wintered here in that very pine, so it must be a "favorite" of
theirs, it was wonderful to hear them singing in the winter!
We've had 2' or more of snow since mid January here, for a few days before
this we had mid 30's for temp's and dropped the snow to about a foot or so.
They were still here on 2/24, around the same pine, maybe I should go over
there with my tree book and figure out what Type of pine it is?!
