Bald Eagle

Date: 02/22/2004

Number: 1

Saw many eagles, both juviniles and adults. Many flying in pairs shadowing each other. A few in the trres by the cliffs over looking the Hudson river. In all this week a total sighting of 12 birds. Last year this time there were over 26! Stony point is just a few miles south of Bear mountain. These sightings were closer to bear mountain on rt. 9w. Can't express how wonderful it is to see them in such numbers!
