I was outside cleaning up the garden for the first time this year, and all around me in the trees I could hear Robins calling to each other. I tried in vain to spot them amongst the branches, but the sun was in my eyes and there was too much glare. However, something caused them to flush, and as they flew over my head, I counted about 15 of them, which is the most I've seen yet this winter. I think it's so fascinating and amazing that I spied my first earthworm (which I just reported)on the exact SAME day I saw my first wave of Robins!!
