This morning at 6 AM I heard the trill of a red-winged blackbird. I saw it up on the wire and watched and listened as it repeated its trill several times. It was above freezing overnight (37) after a week to 10 days of above freezing temps. We had a couple of sunny days F and S that coincided with the arrival of our first robin and with the blackbird.
