Several students reported seeing earthworms yesterday. They also noticed a lot of robins in the yards, looking for earthworms. We did see earthworms earlier in the year after a big rain in January. They came up to the surface to avoid drowning, but many of them died anyway. It must have been too cold. That wasn't a spring migration, though, because they went back down.
