After what seems like a very long and cold winter for this area, I heard robins singing for the first time at 6 am this morning. There were 3 robins making the continuous song and quite a few others making the whinny or peek tuk calls. I'm outside with the dog at the same time every day so it was a big change from the silence we usually have at 6 am. It was still dark and about 45 degrees. Oh and we also heard spring peepers for the first time last night, so I guess spring is officially here.
