This morning I heard my first Robin sing for the year. Since we have had Robins around the Detroit Metropolitan area most of the winter, my thought is that it is one that has been around for a while. We are not seeing the "spring migration" yet. I am seeing one at a time at the heated birdbath, and heard several chirping back and forth to one another (not singing)in the trees the other day around 6:00 p.m. It sure is great to hear the song for the first time since last season!
