I have some red-winged blackbird sightings. We saw about 4 birds last
Sunday (Feb 29), and this morning (March 8) I saw a flock in my front yard,
mixed with Grackles. I'd say about 50-100 red-wing blackbirds. Enough to
give it that WW2 bombing raid look, with lots of noise. Also this morning
they're hitting the feeders about 5 at a time. That's about 7-10 days
earlier than previous years, in spite of yesterday's blizzard.
