The crocus are emerging in sheltered and sunny areas. The landscape planting, sedum, is also showing new green growth at the base of the stalks from last Fall. This is also happening in sheltered and sunny areas. One can feel the warmth of the sun on your face even though it is still only in the mid-30's for average temps. Ice houses must be off the area lakes now and local ice skating rinks are closing.
