At approx. 13:00 Wednesday afternoon while driving through Bartlett my wife saw a moving irridescent "cloud" that would appear and disappear. The object seemed to be moving northward but became almost stationary at times. Upon reaching our house we retrieved binoculars and located the "cloud" in the distance. We could tell that it was a flock of large white birds that were approx. between 12,000 and 20,000 feet up. We were unable to see any distinguishing characteristics other than the white color and the size. While looking through the binoculars we noticed that they appeared at times to spiral upward as if they were catching an upward air current. Is it possible that these were Whooping Cranes? Please email me with any info you have or if you need more info from me. Thanks,
