When we checked our garden on March 3rd,6 of the 13 bulbs that we planted according to the Journey North directions have emerged. Last week the temperature was very mild. It was 63 degrees Farenheit when we first checked our garden.

This week, March 11th, the weather was back to the usual 40-50 degree range. We noticed that 7 of the 13 plants emerged in our Journey North garden plot. In the experimental plot where we planted our bulbs upside down, only 1 bulb has emerged.

In second experimental plot where we planted our bulbs facing east, we were excited and surprised to see 2 bulbs have emerged. Some of us weren't expecting any other these bulbs in this plot to emerge at all.
