The robins no longer grace our skies daily in North Central Florida. They have been replaced by those wonderful buggers, Barn Swallows. I saw my first 3 of the season March 10 about 11 AM flying with a group of Tree Swallows and one lone Northern Rough-winged Swallow at Woodruff Wildlife Refuge west of Deland, Florida. And, also noteworthy were the 2 Baltimore Orioles I found in the Everglades National Park on March 3. I did find a small group of robins down there but there is no sign of them up this way at all. So, I am officially proclaiming it SPRING!!!
