I have seen huge flocks of robins, in the hundreds, on sunny, open hayfields,
which is quite a sight. Even though it is still dark outside at 6:00 am
when we let the dog out, they are already singing their hearts out. Whether
this early morning serenade is a territorial thing, I don't know.
