Saw my first robin of the season today as well as my first pair of Canadian Geese on the ground. I have been hearing the geese flying overhead off and on for about a week now but this was the first pair I have actually seen waddling along the bank of a local creek. THe robin appeared to be gathering nesting material as she was flying over to a school yard to pick things up and carry them back to the yard across the street. The robin was seen about 10 miles from our house and the geese were about 4 miles away.
