I made a major "loop" yesterday birding from half way between Baton Rouge and Lafayette off I-10 northward to central Louisiana. I had about a dozen Barn Swallows setting up house keeping along I-10 and we have several flying around here at our lakeside home - Cotile Lake - in central Louisiana.
