I just got back from a quick trip into the westernmost edge
Of the Hill Country in northern Kinney County [TX]some 65 miles
Due north of Eagle Pass, Maverick County. We checked for A.
Asperula along a 35 mile stretch between Brackettville and
The entrance to Kickapoo Caverns State Park: none up yet.

But as we left I saw what I'm relatively almost positive
Was a female monarch.
