Last week (Approx. 03/20/04)I found 8 worms and have been
carefully monitoring them. Last year, in June I stopped counting at 150
hatched chrysalises, and I know there were more I couldn't find.
So, I am not sure if the monarch's are the ones migrating from Mexico, or
the ones that have hatched locally. Nevertheless, my milkweed is growing
very well and will be able to support more caterpillars.
