Dog & I saw a large beaver, swimming in Lake Monona, in the
vicinity of Hudson beach, around 8 am. At first I thought it was
a very large muskrat, they are quite common here. But the critter
swam right up to where we were standing, and then slapped it's
tail against the water. It was definitely a beaver.
