Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 04/06/2004

Number: 1

I was very surprised this morining to hear Robin song. It is still cold here and still snowing on occasion. We also have plenty of snow left on the ground. The whitetail deer are moving out of the woods and cedar swamps to their summer grounds. Perhaps the Robin was singing them along. Certainly the singing is a sign of hope for those of us that live here in the U.P. Spring is indeed on the way - hopefully soon.
