We had a warm spell in early March, but since then we've experienced a fairly cold spring. There was a dusting of snow here in Southern Maine just yesterday! Despite the colder than usual weather, our first tulip emerged today!! Just one of the 24 bulbs in our little tulip bed is up, but we hope the others will follow soon.
