A very faded Monarch stopped in at the Heard Museum Native Plant Garden
today (in McKinney, N of Dallas). First one I've seen this spring.

04/07: A very ragged, faded Monarch spent some time in the garden at the Heard
Museum today. I don't think it was same one as yesterday although we did
have a storm that could have beat it up a bit last night. Today's monarch
was so tattered I found it surprising that it could maintain flight.
