04/04/04 at 06:00 Am First Rufus Hummingbird arrived and buzzed my window - Put the feeder out and by 09:15Am had 3 Rufus Hummingbirds feeding. The weather was blowing 45 knots and raining sideways, we live directly on the beach at Warm Springs Bay , but the temperature was 43 degrees. By mid afternoon, the weather has tuned hot, 50 degrees and higher in the sun, Rain has stopped and wind is around 5 to 10 knots in the bay, altho its blowing from the North out in Chatham straights still 30 knots. The Trumpeter Swans have been in the Bay for 5 days, and Candian Geese arrived 8 days ago, and continue to stop on their way North - We are having our Higher and lower than normal spring tides this week as well.
