The earth smells good. Today while spading the garden the blending of leaves decaying mixing in with the soil was a good smell. Earthworms were all over as the soil is wet and heavy from this weeks earlier snows. Underneath a piece of wood was a Wooly Bear all curled up. Also saw a big flock of Canadian Geese flying northwest. My chickens are enjoying play time outside of their run.
