Tree swallows have built nests in 3 blue bird boxes around our 2+ acre lake. Spotted one blue bird egg in a blue bird box yesterday. Will be checking every day from now on, they lay one egg a day for about 6 days and then sit for about 2weeks until they hatch. Will have to get more boxes up for tree swallows - dozens of them arguing and fighting over the homes. They are supposed to nest 20-30 ft. apart while blue birds like to be about 300 ft. apart, so maybe I can get a good mixture.
