All Other Signs of Spring

What a difference a week makes. With temperatures in the 70's thing have just jumped around here. Saturday, the 17th we heard our first Peepers of the season. You know it's warmer when you see Bumblebees hovering about. The Wild Honeysuckle bushes are leafing out rapidly, along with Wild Leeks. I remember my father telling me how he along with a friend were expelled from school for a week after eating them. Yesterday during a thunderstorm of 15 mins. we had .6 inches of rain. Should be a lot of returning summerbirds soon with this warm weather.
