We heard a robin singing at about 8:30 pm. It was a cool evening with a little wind on a cloudy day.

On the 18th, the day before we heard the robin song, we had a big thunderstorm with a lot of rain. This turned our grass green overnight! (Apparently the robins were happy about that.)

We don't see many robins in our yard but we can hear them. We checked our identification against a robin call recording available on the web.

He sang for about 2-3 minutes before falling quiet.
