After a beautiful weekend with temperatures in the 60's and some gentle rains, we returned to school to find that our tulips had emerged and were 3" high. It was interesting to note that around town tulips planted near to houses and buildings had emerged about 1 and 1/2 weeks earlier than ours which are planted on the edge of the practice football field.
