Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/21/2004

Number: 1

Wednesday clear, bright, sunny approx. 75 degrees at 5:45 P.M. saw my first Monarch of the season, a faded female necturing on RoseMary in my front yard. She stayed only a few minutes and then headed off in westerly direction. Checked all my milkweed but she left no eggs, was just traveling thru. This is about two weeks early compared to the last couple of years.
