A female was observed flying and landing on our milkweed in the butterfly garden at about 2:30 p.m. Weather was about 82 degrees F and partly cloudy. We lost 12-15 caterpillars due to thunderstorms a couple of weeks ago. Maybe we'll have more now. If she laid eggs, we had strong storms pass through this past weekend, so we'll continue monitoring leaves for further signs.
