Both the leaves of the common milkweed and white swamp milkweed are up at least 1 1/2 inches.(2 sets of leaves). Today(4/27) was cold, rainy, sleeting and snow with temps rebounding to near 80 on 4/29. Still spring in W. PA. Our first monarch came thru mid-May last year, eating the leaves Memorial Day Weekend.
