I have been gardening and setting out feeders for hummingbirds for years now, but this is the first time I have had one at any time other than mid-August for a few days furing fall migration. This time it was a male who hung around until a song sparrow chased him off. What a great Mother's Day gift! here's hoping he decides to make my hummingbird gargen a refular feeding spot.
